Questions

Is anything charged now? No. There is no checkout on this site yet, and no button that takes money.

What happens to my batches if a Pass ends later? Nothing is deleted when a Pass ends. You can still open and read every batch and add weigh-ins up to the free limit; adding batches beyond the free 2, the drying chart, labels and CSV need the Pass again. A Batch Book nobody opens for 400 days is deleted, unless it has a running Pass.

Do I need an account? No. Your Batch Book opens with a private link. Keep the link: it is the only key.
